I'm a health and lifestyle writer in Kentucky. I grew up in Connecticut, where I attended the University of Connecticut. After graduating from the university's journalism school, I embarked on my career as a freelance journalist before moving to rural Kentucky for family reasons. My two Labrador retrievers are my constant companions while working from home.
